This variety of olive mostly originates from Andalusia. It has a wide range of flavours, with the sweet and fruity flavours being most notable. It is spicy in the throat, with an almond after-taste. This unfiltered extra virgin olive oil preserves all of the natural essence of the olive, with a somewhat turbid appearance due to the presence of microparticles of olive pulp, which provide a characteristic colour, smell and flavour. It is slightly more aromatic, fresh and fruity, with a mild hint of bitterness and spice.
